LECTURE

In week 3, we started to learn some tools in Adobe Photoshop 2023. Photoshop provides Tool Box and Marquee Selection Tools.

In this lecture, we are going to learn specifically on how to use Lasso Tool, Pen Tool and Layers.

 1. Lasso Tool

• similar to a pencil
• allows to draw and pinpoint specific areas of a document
• different tool options: Lasso, Polygonal Lasso, Magnetic Lasso

2. Pen Tool

• creating paths
• the fewer points, the smoother the path!

3. Layering

• layers are different images stacking on top of each other
• non-destructive editing
